Holy Family School celebrated the importance of reading for pleasure during the week.  The annual book fair took place during which children were give the opportunity to browse through and purchase books which appealed to them and in doing so helped to re-stock our central library.

Activities during the week included trips to Kerry County Library to attend a workshop with author Alan Nolan, book reading in our own School Library with author Olive Mooney, favourite book spine competition and display, favourite book character selfies, viewing inspiring interactive films online by some amazing authors and illustratirs and of course on Thursday, which was World Book Day pupils and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters.
